Et si j’active le pilote openCL Intel GPU, darktable ne démarre plus du tout.

Bonsoir, il me semble que Intel Grapics n’est pris en charge qu’a partir de la génération 8 des processeurs Intel !

Le processeur Intel Core Ultra 7 265T intègre un iGPU Intel Arc Xe‑LPG.
Cette architecture est la première génération d’iGPU d’Intel après les générations 8 e (HD 620/630) et 9 e (Xe‑LP).
Il se peut justement qu’il soit trop moderne pour les mises à jours logiciels.

Bonjour, là je ne connais pas cette architecture, c’est juste le 7 qui m’a interpelé, désolé ! Possible effectivement que les drivers ne soit pas pris en charge pour toutes les versions de systèmes d’exploitation ou juste par certaines versions de Linux !
Là, il va falloir faire des recherches, j’ai vu qu’il supporte l’OpenGl et n’ai rien vu pour l’OpenCl !

J’utilise le gpu intégré d’un processeur Intel core I7 de 12ème génération (Intel® UHD Graphics 770), pas de problème avec les drivers. Mais ce n’est pas le même GPU dont tu parles, c’est un Intel ARC et pour celui-ci, je ne sais pas s’il existe un driver sous Linux pour ce GPU

Je pencherais pour un driver pas au niveau par rapport au iGPU.

Que donne :

sudo lshw -C video | grep driver

Tu pourrais avoir besoin de faire un tour sur ce site d’Intel pour chercher le bon driver pour ce modèle précis d’iGPU, éventuellement…

OK, je vois que KDE neon user edition est basé sur Ubuntu, il se peut qu’il y ait un souci du côté du pilote i915…

C’est délicat à distance, d’autant qu’en fonction des manips, parfois on se retrouve sans display (rebooter en mode sans erreur).

Merci pour le lien, mais comme tu dis « parfois on se retrouve sans display », c’est d’ailleurs à cette occasion que j’ai réinstallé neon à la place de Kubuntu dans l’espoir d’avoir des drivers plus à jour, en vain.

Serais-tu dans ce cas avec ce iGPU, soit un GPU intégré au CPU ?

Facile à vérifier : darktable arrêté tu édites le fichier ~/.config/darktable/darktablerc pour passer opencl_use_cpu_devices à true (doit être à false actuellement).

Et tu relances dt.

Merci Manu. Dans ~/.config/darktable/darktablerc j’ai passé clplatform_intelropenclhdgraphics=FALSE à TRUE et changéle premier 0 en 1 dans cldevice_v5_intelropenclgraphicsintelrgraphics0x7d67=0 250 0 16 16 128 0 0 0.000 0.000 0.250
Et j’ai enfin pu activer l’openCL dans mon darktable. Cela faisait un moment que je pataugeais. Ouf !

Si tu veux aller plus loin, tu peux regarder un peu la section performance de darktable.info, en anglais ou en allemand, non encore traduite.

C’est un outil qui permet de mesurer effectivement les performances de sa machine avec darktable. Il y a un outil à disposition (on utilise un photo étalon fournie, on téléverse ensuite un log) et des tas de recommandations et autres conseils.

Par exemple, pour les iGPU (traduit) :
