[résolu] dt crash (3.0rc2 src git + bin obs, 3.1 obs)

j’espère qu’il s’agit d’une nouvelle blonchkerie sans importance, mais en l’absence de certitude j’ai préféré signaler.

[Mise à jour]
Description:
dans la chambre noire, zoomer à 100% avec ce xmp provoque un crash. Maintenant, si on désactive le masque dessiné dans la seconde instance du module égaliseur de ton et qu’on recommence, tout va bien.

Méthode pour reproduire:
Sur un développement vierge (mais raw), allumer l’égaliseur de ton, preset fill-in, et ajouter un masque dessiné (un rond de taille convenable convient), s’assurer de son opacité dans la gestion des masques, puis dans la section amélioration du masque, lui appliquer un adoucissement à 110 . A partir de là, darktable crash si on essaye de zoomer (clic milieu ou ctrl+molette).
Si au lieu de l’adoucissement, on active le curseur de contraste du masque… tout va bien avec le zoom.

Reproduisible: toujours, avec variantes selon la plateforme (bases debian) ou le build, je peux avoir le crash en revenant à taille normale ou en passant à 200% ou en passant à une autre image en mode zoomé et puis revenir.

[*]darktable ne crash pas dans la table lumineuse lorsqu’on zoom dans l’image (ctrl+molette), par contre top affiche pendant un bon moment les usages de 790% CPU et 23% RAM.

Soupçon: carte graphique peut-être sous dimensionnées sur mes deux systèmes, mais je n’ai pas les compétences pour m’en assurer formellement. Pas de soupçon. Je ne sais pas trop quoi faire pour affiner le diag.

Heu non, pas encore. J’ai ajouté un complément d’info. Voir « remarque » dans le rapport ci-dessus. Peut vivre avec mais ça me pénalise passablement dans l’usage de l’égaliseur de ton. Vais essayer de désactiver compton et re-essayer, juste pour voir si ça change qq ch.

J’ai téléchargé le fichier RAW et le xmp correspondant, et je peux confirmer que lze problème n’est pas lié à ta configuration matérielle.
Effectivement, j’ai testé sur 2 configurations puissantes et 2 distributions Linux différentes (Debian 10 et Fedora 31) et je reproduit le crash de Darktable.

Les actions réalisées:
1 - Copie du développement de ton image et application sur plusieurs de mes images → Darktable crash dans les même condition que ton image
2 - Relevé de l’historique de développement de ton image et développement d’une de mes image en appliquant cet historique et le paramétrage exact des modules et instances concernés → Darktable fonctionne parfaitement.
3 - Importation de ton image sans son xmp et développement comme ci-dessus → idem, Darktable fonctionne parfaitement.

Je pense donc que le problème est lié au développement que tu as effectué sur cette image et représenté par son fichier xmp qui je pense est défectueux.

Jojeux noël, même si la journée est presque finie, et très belle soirée.

En gros naïf qui ignorais comme possible de corrompre un xmp par des manips de post-traitement, ton message me rassure. je vais de ce pas reprendre l’image de zéro.
Je note également la rigueur de tes essais et vais tacher de m’en inspirer.

Personnellement j’ai déjà rencontré des problèmes avec des fichiers xmp mais sans aller jusqu’au crash de Darktable.
C’est en parcourant ce fabuleux forum que j’ai compris que cela peux arriver.

La résolution du problème fût soit de reprendre une sauvegarde du xmp coupable soit de reprendre le développement.

Bon, je viens de réaliser le test suivant et Darktable ne crash pas:

1 - Suppresion des formes et du groupe dans le module gestion des masques
2 - Suppression de l’instance égaliseur de ton 1
3 - Dans le module gestion des masques, création d’une nouvelle forme chemin
4 - Création d’une nouvelle instance de l’égaliseur de ton at association de la forme créée ci-dessus
5 - Modification des réglages dans égaliseur de ton 1
6 - Zoom et dezoom → Darktable ne crash pas :slight_smile:

La seule chose que je n’est pas fait c’est de modifier l’opacité du masque dans égaliseur de ton 1

C’est plus rapide que de reprendre le développement à zéro.

Je viens de réessayer et le contexte se précisie:

Je parle du zoom en chambre noire. Je n’ai plus testé en table lumineuse.
C’est peut-être dans la doc, qu’il ne faut pas utiliser le curseur d’adoucissement avec l’égaliseur, mais alors là, j’ai loupé la case :exclamation:

J’ai réussi à reproduire, c’est un bon gros segfault sur la fusion paramétrique.

Par contre, je ne comprends pas trop pourquoi tu réappliques un masque guidé sur l’égaliseur de ton avec 2 instances… Il utilises déjà un masque guidé en interne, tu te compliques la vie. Soit tu utilises plusieurs instances du module exposition masquées, soit un seul égaliseur de ton.

GegeL m’a bien aidé à décrire le soucis.

Mes connaissances sont, on va dire, quelques peu morcelées et incomplètes. Alors oui, je dois enchaîner pas mal d’horreurs dans mes historiques. Je n’ai abordé l’égaliseur de ton un peu plus formellement qu’avant hier et suis encore loin d’avoir tout compris. En fait, il s’agissait d’une autre image :wink: , où je voulais drastiquement assombrir l’arrière plan, je n’ai pas du tout pensé aux instances du module d’expo. Ai réalisé un draft avec les courbes rvb et j’aurai peut-être pu finaliser, mais en passant par 2 instances de l’égaliseur et 1 seul masque sur l’une d’entre elle, tout c’est simplifié d’une manière incroyable. Là encore, les conseils avisés de membres de cette communauté [*] m’ont bien fait avancer dans la prise en main de cette extraordinaire nouvelle pile de traitement que tu as magnifiquement concrétisé.

C’est effectivement le seul réglage que j’avais omis de faire lors des tests, désolé pour la perte de temps que cela a pu occasionner :blush:
C’est reproductible dès que l’on touche à l’adoucissement du masque, 5 ou 10% suffise à faire planter Darktable.

Le principal c’est que cela est identifié comme problème, peu importe le chemin pris pour tomber dessus.
Ça n’empêche pas de continuer à utiliser ce fabuleux, que dis-je MERVEILLEUX, logiciel qu’est Dartable d’autant plus que c’est très facilement contournable comme le mentionne @Aurélien.

Finalement ce n’était pas une « nouvelle blonchkerie » et tu as parfaitement bien fait de la signaler :smiley:
